This position is responsible for the production of high-quality cardiovascular medical devices within a manufacturing team. The role involves detailed assembly and operation of various equipment and machinery as per documented procedures. Tasks may include electronic assembly, casting/coating functions, mechanical assembly, and packaging. Additionally, it involves cleaning tools and equipment according to documented procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assemble medical devices and related components in a controlled cleanroom environment.
• Utilize microscopes, hand tools, razor blades, syringes, soldering, adhesive bonding, and operate various equipment.
• Perform routine assignments according to specified and standardized procedures, with work closely and continually reviewed.
• Conduct visual inspections and precision measurements on components and assemblies.
• Perform tests on units using computerized test equipment.
• Repair and correct devices/components using microscopes and applicable tools.
• Package devices ensuring all parts are accurate and documentation is complete.
• Maintain accurate records to ensure travelers, shop floor paperwork, and quality documents are accurate.
• Follow safety guidelines and utilize appropriate safety devices and equipment.

Essential Skills

• Experience in assembly and operation of machinery.
• Minimum of 6 months of manufacturing experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in medical device assembly and cleanroom environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.25 - $22.83/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
