We are actively seeking passionate and skilled individuals for the role of Medical Center Specialist, specifically targeting EMT-Basic, Advanced EMT, or Paramedic professionals at our Plasma Donation Center. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct physical examinations and record donor medical histories to assess their suitability.
• Establish rapport with donors, ensuring a positive experience.
• Maintain confidentiality for donors and staff.
• Inform donors about potential hazards.
• Educate donors on general health and communicate regarding adverse test results.
• Evaluate and manage donor injuries and any adverse events.
• Review medical histories to confirm ongoing donor eligibility.
• Support employee training initiatives.
• Oversee the Hepatitis Vaccine program for staff members.

Job Requirements:

Must be certified and licensed in the state as a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Licensed Vocational Nurse, Paramedic, or EMT. Current CPR certification is also required.

Your Skills and Attributes:

• Ability to perform tasks involving standing, sitting, bending, and manual dexterity.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing various physical movements.
• Strong communication skills, with a focus on understanding and relaying information.
• Adept at working independently with clear written or oral instructions.
• Experience in a health-related environment preferred.
• Willingness to work in diverse conditions, including exposure to biological materials.
