Job Description

The Medical Assistant plays a crucial role during patient visits by accompanying the dermatologist in the room and fostering a friendly and efficient environment for patients, staff, and dermatologists.

Responsibilities

  Room patients and document all vital information.

  Scribe information for the dermatologist.

  Draw blood and collect specimens.

• n

  Clean and stock the exam rooms.

  Schedule patient appointments.

  Triage and follow up with patients.

Essential Skills

n
• n

  At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.

  n

• n

  Proficiency in medical assisting, EMR, and rooming.

  n
n
• n

  Experience with Epic, RMA, dermatology, and Mohs procedures.

  n
n

Additional Skills & Qualifications

n
• n

  Preferred candidates have experience in dermatology, specialty practice, or procedure assistance.

  n

• n

  Flexibility and the ability to work across multiple sites, particularly in Appleton and Kaukauna.

  n
n
• n

  Experience in a fast-paced specialty clinic supporting multiple providers.

  n

• n

  Consideration for LPN or RN candidates interested in the position.

Work Environment

This role operates Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the Appleton and Kaukauna clinics. Schedules are typically known 4-6 weeks in advance, and flexibility is preferred. The environment supports learning, growth, and advancement opportunities.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.50 - $34.00/hr.
