Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay: $16 per hour

Employment Type: Temp-to-hire position

What You'll Do Each Day

As a Medical Assistant Technician, you'll provide direct patient care while supporting the physicians and ensuring efficient operations throughout the clinic. Daily responsibilities include:

• Performing basic ocular screenings and collecting detailed patient histories
• Assisting doctors with patient examinations and documenting information in the EHR system
• Scribing for doctors and maintaining accurate chart documentation
• Preparing examination rooms with all necessary medications, forms, and educational materials
• Coordinating special testing with technicians and surgical needs with surgical counselors
• Maintaining a sterile environment using proper sterile techniques
• Helping maintain smooth patient flow through the clinic
• Following all departmental policies and procedures to ensure quality and compliance

What You'll Bring

• Medical Assistant Technician experience required (non-entry level role)
• Ophthalmology experience preferred but not required-training will be provided
• Post-secondary education required
• Strong communication and organizational skills
