Medical Assistant / Limited X-Ray Technologist - PRN Position

Urgent Team is seeking skilled Medical Assistants and Limited License X-Ray Technologists to join our dedicated team at Baptist Health Urgent Care!

Baptist Health Urgent Care operates 23 locations in Arkansas as part of Urgent Team, one of the largest independent providers of urgent and family care in the Southeast. Our walk-in centers deliver high-quality and affordable healthcare services for various injuries and illnesses, occupational health, and wellness care. Open seven days a week from Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., we pride ourselves on being Accredited Care Centers committed to safety and excellence in service.

JOB SUMMARY:
As a Medical Assistant / Limited X-Ray Technologist, you'll play a crucial role in providing patient care through multi-faceted responsibilities. You will perform essential x-ray procedures and assist with patient care, all while ensuring a safe and supportive environment. This PRN role allows for flexible scheduling based on necessity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following duties outline the primary expectations of this position:

• Perform timely radiology procedures for review by the attending physician.
• Conduct quality control checks to maintain high standards of imaging.
• Prepare patients for x-ray procedures and adhere to safety protocols concerning patient care.
• Ensure diagnostic equipment functions properly and report any issues promptly.
• Complete and maintain accurate documentation related to patient visits.
• Commit to continuous learning and skill enhancement in diagnostic imaging.
• Maintain up-to-date licensure and certification related to radiology equipment.

WHAT'S REQUIRED?
A high school diploma or equivalent education is necessary, along with demonstrated skills in Medical Assisting. A State X-Ray license is required, or a willingness to obtain one upon hire.
