Job Summary:
The Medical Assistant and X-ray Technician will deliver basic clinical care to patients and perform essential x-ray testing. Full-time staff typically work rotating 36-40 hour weeks with 12-hour weekday shifts and every-other weekend. PRN team members are scheduled as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet patients promptly in waiting areas, exam rooms, and x-ray rooms.
• Effectively communicate with patients regarding wait times and treatment processes.
• Address patient concerns proactively and seek assistance during emergencies.
• Conduct follow-up calls with urgency and care.
• Collaborate with front desk staff on patient check in/out procedures.
• Document vital signs, past medical history, current medications, and allergies accurately.
• Assist with patient transfers and procedures under the provider's supervision.
• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
• Complete all required documentation related to patient visits accurately.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS Certification.
• A minimum of 1 year experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
• Medical Assistant Certificate and ARRT certification are preferred.
