Mechanical Project Manager

This is a 3 month contract role with the potential to convert perm!

Onsite in Sparks, NV working 60 hour work weeks

Must Haves

• Over 5 years of experience leading large-scale construction projects, particularly ground-up and retrofit initiatives within the industrial or manufacturing sectors
• Extensive knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, and process systems
• Skilled in performing material takeoffs and generating accurate estimates from construction drawings
• Strong expertise in developing construction baselines, managing change control, analyzing cost and schedule performance, and conducting variance assessments

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, estimation, coordination, and execution of all phases of construction projects, ensuring alignment with specifications and adherence to quality standards
• Supervise and guide a multidisciplinary construction team, promoting collaboration and maintaining a strong focus on safety
• Oversee project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to drive efficient and cost-effective project delivery
• Proactively identify and manage project risks and opportunities throughout the lifecycle
• Partner with design, manufacturing, facilities, and commissioning teams to resolve design changes and ensure regulatory compliance
• Build and sustain relationships with key stakeholders by providing consistent project updates and addressing concerns in a timely manner
• Uphold rigorous standards for document control and ensure all RFIs are accurately reflected in final record drawings
