Mechanical Project Engineer - Sanitary Piping

Salary: Up to $90,000 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Managing and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget
Scheduling and budgeting a wide range of custom engineering projects
Creating, engineering, fabricating, and testing custom engineering projects, from concept to delivery
Reviewing detailed custom engineering 3D SolidWorks drawings to ensure accuracy and viability
Maintaining effective communication with various vendors, customers, and internal teams
Working collaboratively with other engineers and production teams to ensure project efficiency
Developing and maintaining the Production Ready Library and overseeing the creation of Engineering Change Notices
Constructing comprehensive bills of materials and coordinating project integrations
Supervising installations and problem-solving on site to provide technical leadership and support

Minimum Position Qualifications:

Two or more years of experience as a Project Engineer in a relevant field such as biotechnology, food, or pharmaceuticals with a focus on sanitary piping
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
At least two years of experience with Microsoft Excel for project tracking and reporting
Proficiency in managing multiple, concurrent projects in a dynamic environment
Demonstrated solid work history with a commitment to project and job fidelity
Must be a U.S. citizen or hold a Green Card
Residence within 45 minutes of the worksite in Whitewater, Wisconsin Area

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a leadership or supervisory role within engineering projects
Advanced certification or training in project management methodologies (e.g., PMP)
Knowledge of CAD software, particularly SolidWorks, for drafting and reviewing project designs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interface with all project stakeholders
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address engineering challenges
