The Opportunity

A HVAC and plumbing engineer interested in working on a diverse collection of building configurations. Under general supervision, capable of performing all aspects of conventional design engineering, analysis, and studies on new and existing structures.

Key Responsibilities

The Mechanical Buildings Design Group provides HVAC and plumbing solutions for Black & Veatch's Global projects.? The Mechanical Engineer level 2 position is responsible for the engineering and design of the HVAC and plumbing systems in various types of structures.

  Type of Areas - Office/Administrative, Commercial, Warehouse, Maintenance, Workshop, Laboratory, Chemical Storage & Handling, Power Generation, Electrical Distribution Center, Low & Medium Voltage Switchgear, Pump Areas, Engine Generator, Blowers/Air Compressors, and Flammable & Combustible Liquids Storage.

Minimum Qualifications

  Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing

  Minimum of 1 year related work experience

Typically expect incumbents to have passed the EIT and be able to obtain a professional engineering licensure once eligible.
