Job Description

• This role is responsible for leading the assembly of components and sub-assemblies of metal parts according to blueprints and job packets.

• You will plan and perform large and complex assemblies while directing others with minimal supervision.

• Additional duties include assisting with assigned assembly jobs, performing inspections throughout the process to ensure quality, and reducing scheduled time for the job.

• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment is crucial.

• You may operate a variety of hand and power tools such as band saws, drill presses, grinders, and belt sanders.

• 1st and 2nd shift available!

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and sheet metal components for large enclosures.

• Install electrical components as per assembly drawings.

• Assemble electrical enclosures.

• Verify components with the bill of materials to ensure accuracy.

Hard Skills

• Mechanical assembly

• Blueprint reading.

• Use of hand and power tools.

Pay

• $23-26/hour based off of previous work experience and interview.

Work Environment

• The work environment is a well-lit, clean facility.

• The dress code is standard casual with jeans and a t-shirt.

• Steel-toe shoes, as well as ear and eye protection, are required.

• The 1st shift operates from 6am to 4:30pm, Monday through Thursday, while the 2nd shift runs from 4pm to 2:30am, Monday through Thursday.

• Weekend shift available!

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
