Mechanical Assembler- Entry Level

Assembly Trainee

Join our Assembly Training Program to become a qualified assembler. Participants will engage in a variety of tasks across departments, learning blueprints and tools specific to our operations. This is a great opportunity for mechanically inclined individuals.

Shift: 6am-2:30pm Monday-Friday

Pay: Based on progression.

• $17.75/hr to start
• $18.25 between 3-5 months
• $19/hour at 6 months

Responsibilities:

• Participate in a 6-month training program.
• Perform general labor tasks in sealing, coating, and other departments.
• Learn to read blueprints and use specialized tools.
• Progress through classroom, shadowing, and hands-on training phases.
• Contribute to the assembly and modification of shelters.

Essential Skills:

• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16th of an inch.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• General understanding of math.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Mechanical assembly experience.
• Machine operation and inspection skills.
• Forklift operation knowledge.
• Welding and construction.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $17.75/hr.
