Mechanical Assembler II

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler for the 2nd or 3rd shift with a $2 premium. You will be responsible for assembling landing gears for the Aerospace industry, requiring precision and expertise in reading and interpreting drawings and blueprints. The role involves utilizing hand and power tools for the large part assembly of metal and steel components.

Responsibilities

• Assemble landing gears for the Aerospace industry.
• Read and interpret drawings and blueprints.
• Utilize hand and power tools for assembly.
• Handle large part assembly of metal and steel parts.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Troubleshoot and correct any issues in the assembly process.
• Perform quality checks to ensure proper specifications are met.

Work Environment

This position is located in a 100,000 sq ft Electro-Plating manufacturing facility in Strongsville, OH. You will work in an industrial manufacturing environment where you will be exposed to chemicals and waste waters. Training will be conducted on the 1st shift for 4-6 weeks, after which you will be the sole maintenance technician on your shift. The role is flexible regarding shift hours to accommodate your needs.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
