Aerotek's client is seeking a dedicated mechanic helper to assist mechanics in our plant. This role involves supporting mechanics with tools and various other tasks to ensure efficient operations.

Responsibilities:

• Assist mechanics in repairing and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment.
• Carry tools and equipment to and from storage and work areas.
• Help maintain cleanliness in the work area.
• Oil and grease machines as needed.

Essential Skills:

• General labor experience
• Mechanical aptitude
• Experience with hand and power tools
• 1-2 years of basic mechanic experience

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in construction is a plus
• Strong mechanical aptitude

Work Environment:

• The role involves working in a coal plant, which is a dirty environment, and requires comfort with working outdoors. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 6 am to 2 pm. Openings are available in both Canton and Curtis Bay.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $22.00/hr.
