Job Responsibilities

• Just teaching. No lesson plans. No preparation
• Develop rapport with students and establish a fun learning environment.
• Display a positive attitude, and demonstrate enthusiasm for math.
• Supervise, interact with, and motivate students.
• Reward students for completed work, and especially for demonstrated mastery.
• Evaluate and document student progress.
• Communicate student needs to the Center Director. You will be trained to teach using the Mathnasium Method. All of the tools you need will be provided.

Qualifications

• Passion for math and working with students
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Eagerness to learn and be trained
• Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I
• Ability to balance various ongoing tasks

All applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency, provide work authorization, and pass a background check.

Compensation: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
