Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer (PRN)

At SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital, we believe that healthcare is more than just a job; it's a calling. We are currently seeking a dedicated Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer to join our team on a PRN basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct diagnostic ultrasound procedures on patients, ensuring high-quality images for medical evaluation.
• Utilize both primary and secondary registries effectively in at least 30% of your work.
• Set up and adjust imaging equipment, maneuver transducers skillfully, and perform diverse imaging studies.
• Implement safety protocols and quality control measures to guarantee optimal patient care and equipment functionality.
• Maintain a clean and organized departmental environment, supporting a professional atmosphere for patients and staff.
• Ensure timely submission of images and relevant documentation to the PACS system.
• Stay compliant with all regulatory standards and maintain a vigilant awareness in all procedures.
• Undertake additional tasks as assigned by your supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Must have completed an accredited Sonography program.
• No prior experience required.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent standing, walking, and lifting/moving patients as needed.
• Ability to utilize vision and hearing for accurate assessments and communications.

Certifications:

• Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) certification by the American Heart Association.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with relevant specialties (ABD/OB, ABD/MSK, ABD/BR, OB/FE, etc.).
