In our 1:1 ABA therapy setting, you will work directly with children aged 18 months to 8 years using ethical and evidence-based ABA techniques in a supportive center environment. Your Responsibilities as a Behavior Therapist:

• Implement one-on-one ABA therapy to assist children with Autism in achieving their full potential by following treatment plans, collecting data, writing insurance notes, and applying supervisor feedback during observation sessions.
• Encourage child development through engaging and enjoyable therapeutic activities for early childhood.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to optimize treatment safety and contribute to a fun working environment.
• Engage with children through play, movement, and imitation, cultivating a joyful atmosphere through various interactive activities.
• Communicate positively and effectively with peers, families, and supervisors to coordinate activities and celebrate successes.

Position Requirements:

• Physical capability to lift and move children in a fast-paced environment, including lifting up to 30 lbs, bending, squatting, and moving quickly to maintain engagement.
• Maintain a neat and conducive therapy environment ensuring that play areas are tidy, organized, and stimulating for children.
• Ability to multitask by managing multiple actions, decisions, or discussions while prioritizing safety.
• Support teamwork across the center, neighborhood, and region, with potential travel to nearby centers as needed.
• Must possess reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Master's Degree Required

Complete the RBT certification within 20 days of employment through a structured training program, hands-on assessment, and examination.

Salary Range Based on Experience & Education:

Masters: $22.00 - $28.00

Entry-level candidates can earn their first raise upon obtaining RBT certification, usually within 21 days.

Preferred Experience:

• Childcare (nanny, babysitter, preschool teacher, tutor, etc.)
• Mental health professionals (QMHP, behavioral health technicians)
• Camp counselors, volunteers, or educators
• Degrees in teaching, special education, sociology, psychology, or related fields
• Experience as paraprofessionals, direct support, or life skills assistants
• A passion for working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder
• An eagerness to engage in a caring, team-oriented culture
