Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Marine Pipefitters for a project located in Freeland, WA . This is a full time opportunity and the pay rate is up to $35/hour & $164/per diem based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

  Interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and schematics for piping systems (fuel, ballast, cooling water, fire main, hydraulics, etc.)

  n

• n

  Plan and lay out pipe systems, routes, and supports

  n
n
• n

  Select and prepare materials, fittings, and tools for job tasks

  n
n
• n

  Cut, bend, thread, bevel, and prepare pipe sections (carbon steel, copper-nickel, stainless steel, etc.)

  n
n
• n

  Fit and assemble pipes, valves, flanges, brackets, and hangers

  n
n
• n

  Install and align pumps, valves, and machinery connections

  n
n
• n

  Use tack welding or brazing where permitted for temporary or final assembly

  n
n
• n

  Install and secure piping systems within ship compartments, machinery spaces, and deck areas

  n
n
• n

  Ensure piping runs maintain required clearances, accessibility, and safety standards

  n
n
• n

  Install supports, insulation, and penetrations through bulkheads and decks in accordance with marine standards

  n
n
• n

  Conduct hydrostatic, pneumatic, and operational testing of installed piping systems

  n
n
• n

  Inspect joints, welds, and fittings for leaks and compliance

  n
n
• n

  Remove, modify, or replace damaged or obsolete piping systems

  n
n
• n

  Troubleshoot and repair leaks, misalignments, and mechanical issues

  n
n
• n

  Perform hot work, cold work, and confined space entry as required

  n
n

Requirements

• n

  Follow shipyard safety protocols, including lockout/tagout and confined space procedures

  n
n
• n

  Adhere to standards such as ABS and OSHA regulations

  n
n
• n

  Maintain proper documentation of work performed, including system tests and certifications

  n
n
