Assemblers/Manufacturing Associates

Seeking assemblers/manufacturing associates for 1st (day) or 2nd (afternoon) shift at a growing, stable manufacturer in Pottstown, PA. Weekly pay & benefits available. Immediately interviewing & hiring.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly, production machine operation, inspection, or other related manufacturing tasks.
• Build point-to-point cables following drawings and instructions.
• Use basic hand tools such as soldering guns, wrenches, hand strippers, trimmers, wire cutters, chop saws, rulers, microscopes/magnifiers.
• Complete all necessary paperwork related to the building of assemblies.
• Conduct in-process inspections to ensure product quality.
• Interface with computer software for document retrieval & data entry.

Skills/Qualifications

• Proficiency in assembly & use of hand tools is required.
• Willingness/ability to cross-train & learn to be effective in various processes.
• Computer experience used to enter data & for record keeping is required.
• Experience with soldering is preferred. No soldering certification is required, but a plus.
• Experience with machine operation is a plus. Extrusion and/or winder/spooling experience is preferred.
• Experience using micrometers, calipers, microscopes and/or comparators is preferred. Any/all is a plus.
• Must be on-time, follow directions, & take feedback well to improve.

Shifts

• Day (1st Shift): 6:30am-3pm
• Mid-Day (2nd Shift): 2:45pm-11:15pm
• Voluntary overtime is offered, with an expectation of consistent participation. Average 5-15 hours of overtime weekly. Overtime would start at 4:15am if working 1st shift, or end at 1:15am if working 2nd shift. Overtime could be available as well on a Saturday, or at times Sunday.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
