Manual Machinist

We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to operate manual machining equipment, focusing on tooling, dies, and molds. The role requires performing tight tolerance machining and conducting quality inspections using micrometers, calipers, and gauges. You will work with Bridge Ports, grinders, saws, manual mills, and manual lathes.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual machining equipment.
• Perform machining on tooling, dies, and molds.
• Execute tight tolerance machining tasks.
• Conduct quality inspections using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Operate Bridge Ports, grinders, saws, manual mills, and manual lathes.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years of manual machining experience.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading.
• Experience in quality inspection.
• Knowledge of step downs and cutting tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Preferred experience in machining on tooling or molds.
• Expertise in tool and mold machining.

Work Environment

Work during the 3rd shift starting at 9:30 PM, with overtime as required. The work environment offers a competitive pay rate with a 20% shift premium. Employees who work over 55 hours a week receive overtime pay plus a $250 overtime bonus. The role is based in a facility committed to providing advanced engineered solutions for the aerospace and transportation industries.

Job Type & Location

This is a permanent position based out of Cleveland, Ohio.

The pay range for this position is $82360.00 - $112320.00/yr.

- PTO- Medical, Dental, Vision experience- up to 4% yearly bonus for all employees based on company performance- 401k 3% company deposit - additional match up to 6%- Newly created employee educational and apprenticeship courses in machining through Tri-C - schooling and hours will count towards a Journeyman's Card
