Manager Respiratory Care

We're seeking an experienced and motivated Manager Respiratory Care to lead our Respiratory Services team. In this leadership role, you'll ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, and age-appropriate respiratory care while inspiring a collaborative and patient-focused team culture.

As part of the Division of Patient Care Services, you'll help drive clinical excellence, uphold national safety standards, and foster a learning environment where both patients and employees thrive.

What You'll Do:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the respiratory care department
• Lead and develop a team of licensed respiratory therapists
• Ensure compliance with all clinical, regulatory, and safety standards
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation
• Implement quality improvement initiatives and staff education programs
• Maintain departmental budgets, supplies, and equipment oversight
• Support continuous staff development and professional growth

What We're Looking For:

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a health-related field in Respiratory Care
• Minimum 35 years in a managerial or supervisory role within a healthcare setting

Licensure & Certifications:

• Current Maryland License as a Respiratory Therapist
• BLS Certification from the American Heart Association

Work Environment:

This role may involve long periods of standing or walking and occasional lifting of equipment or patients. The manager must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call as needed to support 24/7 operations.
