Maintenance Technician (Part Time)

Our all-suites hotel, Embassy Suites by Hilton Milpitas Silicon Valley is looking for a Maintenance Technician (Part Time). We are off I-680, 11 miles from Silicon Valley and San Jose, 10 minutes from the Great Mall and 20 minutes from Levi's Stadium. Our hotel has 267 suites, over 18,000 square feet of event space with 14 meeting rooms. If you are a hands-on type of person who likes to fix things, this is the position for you.

Shift Pattern: AM PM (3 shifts per week; 12:00pm - 8:30pm) Pay Rate: $23.50

The ideal candidate will have:

• Can-do positive attitude
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays
• 1 year hotel/building maintenance knowledge
• Able to troubleshoot and conduct preventative maintenance independently

What will I be doing?

• Perform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks including, but not limited to carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting and HVAC work
• Maintain the physical functionality and safety of the facility including, but not limited to, guest rooms, public space and heart-of-house areas
• Troubleshooting and repair hotel equipment, facilities and systems including HVAC and electrical
• Performing preventative maintenance for guest rooms and meetings spaces
• Conducting regular inspections of guest rooms and general areas including pool
• Diagnosing potential problems within the building
• Record and report completed repairs and items that require further attention
