Maintenance Technician

Join our team as a Maintenance Technician on the 1st shift, working Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm in Canton, OH. You will be responsible for mechanical and electrical troubleshooting of injection molding equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and collaborating with production employees to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting of injection molding equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair pneumatics, hydraulics, motors, sensors, switches, and photo eyes.
• Work with 480v, single and three-phase power systems.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment and facilities.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings/schematics to perform repairs.
• Collaborate with production employees to identify and diagnose problems.

Essential Skills

• Experience with electrical troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics.
• Mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in machine maintenance and repair.
• Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Injection Molding experience is a plus.
• PLC experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of industrial electricity, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
• Proficiency in reading hydraulic and electrical prints/schematics.

Work Environment

This role is on the 1st shift, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. The work environment is rarely demanding of overtime or weekend work, although flexibility is appreciated if needed. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
