Maintenance Electrician

Join our team as a Maintenance Electrician, where you will play a crucial role in assembling, installing, and maintaining plant electrical systems. Your expertise will be vital in repairing electrical equipment and managing electrical materials on construction projects. You will also be instrumental in achieving efficiency improvements and assisting in troubleshooting both mechanical and electrical problems.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, and maintain plant electrical systems.
• Repair plant electrical equipment as needed.
• Manage electrical materials on construction projects.
• Achieve efficiency improvements of the electrical system.
• Assist in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problems.
• Manage the integration of Programmable Logic Controllers.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in electrical repair and installation.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience in PLC troubleshooting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as an Electrician.
• Possession of an Electrician's license.

Work Environment

You will work in a refrigerated food manufacturing plant where conditions may be wet or dry, with temperatures ranging from 25F to 100F. Expect frequent exposure to hazardous materials and conditions. Production demands may require overtime and/or evening or weekend shifts.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Vista, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
