Machinist

We are seeking a skilled machinist for a day shift position, working Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The role involves setting up and operating manual and CNC mills and lathes, building fixtures, interpreting blueprints with tight tolerances, and performing inspections and routine maintenance. The ideal candidate will possess experience with 3 & 4-axis CNC mills, live-tooling lathes, and precision measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual and CNC mills and lathes.
• Build workholding fixtures.
• Follow manufacturing outlines and instructions.
• Troubleshoot machining issues.
• Measure parts to blueprint dimensions.
• Deburr parts.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Perform routine machine maintenance.
• Interpret blueprints, including GD&T.
• Lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
• Multitask and work independently.

Essential Skills

• Experience with manual mills and lathes.
• Proficiency in CNC 3 & 4-axis vertical mills.
• Familiarity with 2-axis lathes with live tooling.
• Use of measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and GD&T.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with ISO9001 or AS9100 standards is preferred.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00/yr.
