Mix And Blend Operator

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Mix And Blend Operator to join our team. This role involves working on a variety of shifts, including back half days and nights, and front half nights, ensuring smooth operation and maintenance of filling machines. You will play a crucial role in maintaining product quality and safety within a fast-paced food production environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Set up, operate, and maintain filling machines.
• Perform and record quality checks to ensure shelf-life integrity and package quality.
• Conduct nominal maintenance on equipment.
• Perform and document Clean-In-Place (CIP) procedures and in-process sanitation as needed.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and quality protocols.
• Adhere to all Safety and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations at all times.
• Utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, face shields, hearing protection, safety shoes, and gloves.

Essential skills include:

• At least 1 year of experience in a food manufacturing or similar role that demonstrates the ability to follow recipes and manage physical tasks.
• Capability to lift 50-55 lbs regularly and move 40lb+ bags of ingredients.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, including proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
• Basic math skills for performing addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, and the ability to read charts and monitors.
• Ability to multitask efficiently.
• Proficiency in using Redzone software.

Additional skills and qualifications include:

• Ability to push up to 300 pounds and pull up to 500 pounds with mechanical assistance.
• Experience in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong attention to detail.

Why work here?

Employees will receive a $1000 bonus for every month they are employed until the plant shutdown in July of 2026. For example, an employee hired as of 7/1/25 who remains working until 7/31/26 will receive a lump sum bonus of $12,000.

Work environment:

This position is set in a fast-paced food production environment, where you will monitor packaging lines and products. The atmosphere can have strong odors, and requires standing for 12+ hours. Steel toe boots are mandatory for all production and warehouse positions. Available shifts include front half days from Sunday to every other Wednesday 6am-6:30pm, back half days and nights, and front half nights.

Job type and location:

This is a contract to hire position based out of Tualatin, Oregon.

Pay and benefits:

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
