M&A IT Program Lead

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT M&A Program Lead to spearhead the planning and execution of complex merger and acquisition initiatives across our enterprise. In this role, you will oversee a portfolio of 10+ integration projects, which include software application migrations, data migrations, system consolidations, and managing organizational change. Your strategic thinking, cross-functional leadership, and ability to drive results in a dynamic environment will be essential for success.

The Program Lead will take charge of the Classic Apps Workstream and will be responsible for transitioning and integrating on-premises applications into a new cloud environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop Integration Strategy: Collaborate with senior leadership to define and implement IT integration strategies that are aligned with business goals.
• Drive Program Execution: Oversee the comprehensive delivery of M&A programs across multiple streams, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and key performance indicators.
• Manage Stakeholder Relations: Act as the main liaison between IT and business units, ensuring effective communication and managing expectations.
• Risk Management: Identify and address risks related to data security, compliance, and integration complexities.
• Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Coordinate and guide virtual and cross-functional IT teams for seamless execution and delivery.
• Monitor Program Performance: Establish metrics to track deliverables, provide updates on program health, and escalate issues as necessary.
• Facilitate Change Management: Partner with Change Management and Communications teams to address the impacts on people, processes, and technology.
• Maximize Post-Merger Value: Identify opportunities to enhance systems and processes after integration for long-term value creation.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Certifications: PMP and/or PgMP preferred.
• Experience:
• 10+ years of IT-focused project and program management experience.
• Demonstrated success managing M&A programs with 10+ concurrent projects.
• Strong expertise in vendor management, budgeting, and reporting.
• Experience with complex software application migrations, data migrations, and system integrations.
• Proven capability to influence without direct authority and foster collaboration across teams.
• Able to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in process architecture, business analysis, and organizational change management.
• Background in the insurance or financial services industries.
• Familiar with enterprise IT systems and integration tools.
