LPN/LVN Psychiatric - Longleaf - Wilson

LPN Psych Position Available

Amergis Staffing is currently seeking both travel and local experienced LPN Psych nurses in Wilson, NC!

Position: LPN Psych

Shifts available: 2nd 3p-11:30p, 40, EOW

Hours: 40hrs

Contract Length: 16 wks

Number of Openings: 2

Start Date: 10/6

Only accepting nurses that have lived in NC for the last 5 years due to fingerprints that would be needed otherwise.

First 2-4 weeks will be orientation- NO RTO OR CALL OUTS WILL BE PERMITTED IN FIRST 2-4 WEEKS.

Orientation Schedule is M-F 8a-4p

If offered, candidate must be willing to attend preemployment screening which is held on Tues, Wed, or Thurs at 10AM OR 1:30PM at the facility. Where a lift test and other pre employment items will be conducted.

Preemployment screening is required once an offer is received located at the facility in Butner NC.

Facility Info: Longleaf Neuro-Medical Treatment Center is a specialized skilled nursing facility certified by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services under the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act long term care regulations.

The Psychiatric or Mental/Behavioral Health LPN is responsible and accountable for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care in the psychiatric unit of a hospital, mental health/behavioral health hospital, or they can be responsible for care in community settings.

The LPN must demonstrate the ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner with the supervision of a Registered Nurse and in collaboration with the care team.

Minimum Requirements:

Current LPN license in state of assignment

1 year experience in a psychiatric care setting preferred

Current CPR if applicable

TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
