Job Description:

Supplemental Health Care is a national hiring partner for facilities across the United States. Our Correctional Healthcare Division works with facilities in 34 states to hire for thousands of correctional healthcare roles every year. Currently, we’re helping staff correctional facilities in Gatesville, Texas that need LVNs to provide care.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of LVN experience
• Previous nursing experience in a corrections setting is preferred
• Active TX nursing license
• American Heart Association BLS
• Applicant must be able to pass a background check before starting work

Correctional Nurse Contract Details:

• $1,190 - $1,302 per week*
• 13-week contract contracts with block booking
• AM shift available
• Various unit security levels available for travel Correctional Nurse contracts in Texas
• LVNs have the option to stay where they are or move to a new location when extending their Correctional Nursing contract with SHC
• Duties will include but are not limited to medication administration, immunizations, admissions, and emergency first aid*
