Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Burk 1
Location: Levindale

JOB SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Director of Nursing, the Licensed Practical Nurse utilizes a general understanding of the principles of nursing and basic physical assessment skills in the development and implementation of individualized nursing care plans to ensure that the needs of the residents are met. The LPN attends to the daily operations of the unit on a per-shift, unit level, and assumes responsibilities of a leadership role as needed.

NEW PAY RATES Effective September 2025

• Competitive base pay with enhanced LPN rates

REQUIREMENTS:

• Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college) or knowledge of a specialized field.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (diploma).

• Less than one year of experience required; related experience preferred.

• Current License for Practical Nursing.

• AHA CPR Certification required.

• Basic computer skills.

• Technical skills including Synquest, IV Pump, Phillips Monitoring System, Accucheck, EKG Machine, and Specialty Bed Operation.
