Department Details

• This position is open to either a RN or LPN.
• The schedule will rotate between 36 and 48 hours per week.
• Night shift hours are from 6pm to 6:30am.
• Every other weekend and holiday commitment is required.

LPN Wage: $26 to $36
RN Wage: $34 to $48

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing individualized nursing care to residents utilizing the nursing process, which includes assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will collaborate with residents, families, and inter-disciplinary colleagues to plan and implement thorough care. Your duties include:

• Caring for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Coordinating care and conducting resident assessments.
• Providing education and various nursing interventions for residents.
• Serving as a charge nurse and delegating appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel.
• Ensuring safe and reliable resident care.

You will work within the scopes and standards of nursing practice and uphold the values and ethical standards set forth by the American Nurses Association.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program is preferred. Bachelor's Degree in nursing is preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN or LPN license in the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing occurs.
• Must maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications.
