Central Kansas Hospitalist Locum Tenens (Nocturnist)
Rhino Medical is proudly leading the charge with one of our longest direct partners, supporting a premier medical institution in the heart of Kansas. We are seeking experienced Board Certified Internal Medicine Hospitalists to provide dedicated nocturnist coverage at a full-service community hospital committed to exceptional patient care and team collaboration.

Facility Snapshot

• Beds: 365
• Trauma Level: III
• Operating Rooms: 8
• ICU: 18-bed open ICU with intensivist coverage
• Specialties: 24/7 cardiothoracic surgery, neurosurgery, oncology, neurology, orthopedics, and more
• Facility Notes: 100% private rooms; modern patient tower completed in 2009

Assignment Details

• Job Type: Locum Tenens - Hospitalist (Nocturnist)
• Shift Times: 7p-7a nocturnist coverage
• Team Structure: 9 Hospitalists on staff + 2 APPs
• Average Patient Encounters: 16-18 per shift
• Procedures: None required
• Call Schedule: Dedicated nocturnist coverage, 7p-7a
• Coverage Dates Ongoing Through 2026

Candidate Requirements

• Board Certified or Eligible in Internal Medicine (Family Medicine pending bylaws confirmation)
• Active Kansas license, IMLC, or eligibility to obtain
• Active/unrestricted DEA
• Availability: 7-10 shifts per month ongoing
• Commitment to collaborative, high-quality patient care
