About The Position
Adelphi is seeking Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrists to provide locum tenens, full-time psychiatric services at a psychiatry facility in Cherokee County, Texas. The ideal candidate will deliver inpatient care to a mix of civilly committed and forensic committed patients, working as part of a multidisciplinary recovery team.

Requirements:

• Active TX License
• BC/BE
• DEA
• CSR
• AHA CPR certification
• Proof of a recent negative PPD test within the past 12 months. Responsibilities
• Provide psychiatric care for 1620 civilly committed and forensic committed patients.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary recovery team.
• Deliver psychiatric evaluation, treatment, and follow-up care for acute and chronic inpatient cases.
• Attend court proceedings and provide testimony as needed.
