About The Position
We are seeking a Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician for a 12-week locum tenens assignment in Texas, starting on Sep 12, 2025. The role involves supervising inpatient and outpatient settings with duties including high-risk consultations and overseeing ultrasound units. Shifts span from 7 am to 7 am, including weekend responsibilities.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Outpatient Duties:
• Supervise the ultrasound unit for OB scans using G10 machines and GE Viewpoint.
• Review anatomy, BPP, and growth scans.
• Participate in the High Risk OB clinic on Wednesdays to formulate treatment plans, provide recommendations, and prescribe medications.

• Inpatient Duties:
• Conduct high-risk rounding and provide phone consultations with the attending physician.
• On-call responsibilities post-shift, primarily phone-based due to a robust labourist team.

• Advanced Life Support (ALS)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification
• Required Board Certification: Maternal-Fetal Medicine
• EMR System: Athenahealth
