About The Position
Hematology and Oncology Locums Physician - Louisiana, Flexible Schedule
Outpatient Hematology and Oncology role in New Orleans with temp privileges and fall start dates still available.
Highlights:
- 2 weeks/month or full-time, you choose your schedule
- Long-term coverage needed until permanent hire
Practice Setting:
- Outpatient cancer center in central New Orleans
- 40% hematology / 60% oncology patient mix
- APPs handle inpatient; full nursing and admin support onsite
- Main location need is Tuoro, with occasional support at a nearby site
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
- Light call, 1:6 weekly rotation
- Ongoing through the year, flexible blocks accepted
Cases and Procedures:
- Adults only; no BMT or CART
- 20 patients/day average
- Must have recent Epic experience
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Hematology, Oncology, or both
- Active Louisiana license or IMLC eligible
- DEA and BLS required
Travel Accommodations:
- Travel, lodging, airfare, and rental car provided
