Opportunity Details:

• Location: New Albany, MS
• Contract Type: Emergency Medicine Physician Locum Tenens
• Start Date: ASAP
• Shift Schedule:
  • Day & Night Shifts: 7 AM – 7 PM, 3 PM – 11 PM
  • Flexible Scheduling – Nocturnists & Weekend Candidates Considered
• Minimum Commitment: 20 shifts per month
• Practice Setting: Physician-led Emergency Department
• Facility Details:
  • Annual Volume: 30,000 patient visits
  • 22 ED Beds
  • No Trauma Designation
  • Bridge Admitting Orders
  • Subspecialty Backup: General Surgery, Urology, GI, Orthopedics
• EMR System: Epic
• Scribe Coverage: None
• Travel & Lodging: Provided
• Temp Privileges: Available

Patient Load & Flow:

• Patients Per Hour: 2.1

Procedures & Responsibilities:

• Required Procedures: Central Lines, Lumbar Punctures, I&D, Intubation
• Code Response: Yes

Provider Requirements:

• Certification: Board Eligible or Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine with Emergency Medicine experience
• Licensure: Active & Unrestricted MS State License & DEA
• Required Certifications for Non-EM Boarded Physicians: ACLS, PALS, ATLS
