Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Board Certified or Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physicians (MD/DO) for an exciting, flexible cross-credentialed locum tenens opportunity in the Greater Louisville area.

This dynamic opportunity allows providers to expand their practice across multiple emergency departments, offering a variety of settings and patient populations while maintaining a consistent, lucrative schedule. Physicians with significant emergency department experience in Family or Internal Medicine (10+ years) are also encouraged to apply.

Opportunity Snapshot

• Location: Greater Louisville, KY region (multiple sites)

• Contract Type: Locum Tenens – Emergency Medicine Physician

• Start Date: ASAP – Ongoing

• Credentialing: Cross-credentialing across all sites | Temp privileges available for clean files

• Schedule Options: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

• Monthly Shift Volume: 10–15 shifts preferred

• Annual ED Volume: ~15,000

• Patients Per Hour:

  • Day Shift: 2–3 PPH

  • Night Shift: 1–2 PPH

• Beds: 12 ED Beds per site

• APP Support: Midlevel coverage daily | 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM

• EMR: Cerner

• Admitting Orders: Not required

• Trauma Level: Level III

• Licensure: Active Kentucky Medical License & Unrestricted DEA
