Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Emergency Medicine in Hereford, TX

We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a 9-day locum tenens assignment at a Trauma Center in Texas. This opportunity begins on Aug 1, 2025, with daily shifts from 7am to 7am. The ideal candidate will manage a variety of cases including pediatric and geriatric patients, ensuring robust specialist coverage in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide care in a Trauma Center with ER beds
• Manage all lifesaving procedures including:
• Intubation and extubation
• Ventilation management
• Perform H&P (History and Physical exams)
• Respond to emergency codes
• Handle a patient demographic of 5% trauma, 50% pediatrics, 35% geriatrics
• Ensure adherence to transfer/admit and OB protocols
• Utilize Cerner EMR system for documentation and management

Additional Information

• Required: Licensed to practice in Texas
• Trauma experience preferred
• Must be comfortable performing all listed lifesaving procedures
