About The Position

Chief Medical Officer Locums - Connecticut, 50% Admin / 50% Clinical

Leadership-focused opportunity in Bridgeport with no call, weekends, or holiday work.

Highlights

• 50% clinical care / 50% administrative leadership
• No call and weekends off
• December start with fast credentialing support
• Open to IMLC physicians

Practice Setting

• Outpatient Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)
• Focus on adult primary care and underserved populations
• Supports quality initiatives, HRSA standards, and Joint Commission alignment
• EMR: Epic

Schedule

• Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
• No weekends or after-hours responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Oversee medical directors across pediatrics, OB, dental, and school health
• Lead value-based care strategy, compliance, and clinical standards
• Supervise clinical teams and mentor providers
• Maintain a limited adult primary care panel

Requirements

• Board certified in Internal or Family Medicine
• Active Connecticut license or IMLC LOQ
• DEA required
