- Reason for Locum Coverage: Recruitment Gap
- Patients per day: 110
- Staff Support: Full nursing staff, 12 hours of APP coverage daily
- EHR: Cerner
- Number of Beds: 42
- ED Volume: Annual volume of 40,000; 15% treated by Fast Track (staffed by APP)
- Trauma Level: 3
- Admission Rates: 22% admitted per day; <1% transferred
- Supervision: Locum will supervise APP and residents; ED staff does not respond to house codes.
- Hourly Pay: $280 - $300 / hour
- Holiday and OT Pay: 1.5x hourly rate
- Orientation Rate: 1/2 of hourly rate for training
- Board Certified in ABEM or AOBEM (no BE) - Required
- Michigan License - Required at time of name clear
- BLS Certification - Required
- Clean background for credentialing - Required
- Must be local to Michigan - Required
- Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine skills, including:
- Adult and pediatric outpatient care
- Newborn resuscitation
- Suturing, incision & drainage, and orthopedic care
- EKG interpretation, central/arterial line placement
- Arthrocentesis, lumbar puncture, paracentesis
