About The Position
We are seeking an Urgent Care Physician Assistant for a 2-week locum tenens assignment in New Jersey, starting Oct 10, 2025. This evening role offers shifts from 6pm to 10pm, with providers required to see all patients who arrive by 8pm on weekdays and 4pm on weekends before leaving. The assignment involves a dynamic and fast-paced urgent care environment with a focus on procedures such as suturing and splinting.
Job Details

• Location: New Jersey
• Start Date: Oct 10, 2025
• LOA: 2 weeks
• Provider Type Needed: Urgent Care Physician Assistant
• Schedule: Oct 10 and Oct 24, 6pm-10pm; patients seen until 8pm on weekdays, 4pm on weekends

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide urgent care services, including evaluation and treatment of acute medical conditions
• Manage COVID-related cases as needed
• Perform procedures such as suturing and splinting
• Ensure all patients who arrive prior to cut-off times are seen before leaving
• Document patient encounters using AdvancedMD EMR

Additional Information

• Active NJ license required
• Must be board certified or truly board eligible
• Proficiency in AdvancedMD EMR preferred
• Prior experience in urgent care settings is highly valued
