Urgent Care NP/PA Locums - Connecticut, No Call

Ongoing urgent care coverage in Connecticut starting November 2025; flexible PRN schedule with no call required.

Highlights

• Assignment runs November 2025 through March 2026
• No call responsibilities
• PRN-style scheduling; weekends prioritized, weekdays available
• Weekly pay with credentialing support

Practice Setting

• Outpatient urgent care clinics across Hartford, New Haven, Middlesex, and nearby counties
• May be asked to split coverage between two nearby locations in a single day
• Treat patients of all ages, including pediatrics

Schedule

• 7a-7p shifts
• Weekend coverage needed most; weekday shifts (esp. Mondays and Fridays) available
• Flexible PRN blocks with no long-term commitment
• Must be open to occasional last-minute schedule adjustments

Cases and Procedures

• Bread-and-butter urgent care: adult and pediatric visits
• Suturing, wound care, incision & drainage
• Splinting, X-rays, EKGs, basic labs
• No inpatient work

Requirements

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Active Connecticut license
• BLS and DEA required

Travel Accommodations

• Lodging, rental car, and mileage covered
