JOB OVERVIEW Job Title: NP/PA Emergency Medicine Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Shreveport, LA (cross-credentialing across 4 Willis Knighton sites) Service Setting: Hospital Emergency Department Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: 12/01/2025 Ongoing Clinical Shift Schedule:
- Physicians: 6a3p, 10a8p, 3p12a, 8p6a
- APPs: 8a8p (MonThurs), 10a10p (SunSat) Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Coverage
FACILITY INFORMATION Staffing Model: 38 hrs/day MD, 24 hrs/day APP EMR System: Meditech Expanse
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes (cross-credentialing across all Willis Knighton sites) Credentialing Timeline: 90 days Orientation
Requirements: Onsite EMR training and orientation Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered REQUIRED PROCEDURES Standard emergency medicine procedures
JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active Louisiana medical license DEA: Active DEA required Board: Not specified (experience in EM required) Certifications: ACLS, PALS preferred (if referenced later, can be added) Experience: Emergency Medicine experience required
