Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking experienced Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs) to join a high-volume, fast-paced Emergency Department in Lima, Ohio.

This opportunity offers exposure to a Level II Trauma Center, a collaborative physician/APP practice model, and the chance to deliver high-impact care in a respected regional hospital.

• Location: Lima, Ohio
• Start Date: ASAP – Ongoing
• Contract Type: Locum Tenens (1099)
• Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital – Level II Trauma Center
• Annual Volume: 53,792 ED visits
• Acuity Level: High
• EMR: Epic
• Scheduling: 12-hour shifts | Full-time or part-time availability accepted

Shift Details

• Physician Coverage: 53 hours/day
• APP Coverage: 48 hours/day
• Typical APP Shifts:
  • 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
  • 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM (Monday–Friday)

Candidate Requirements

• Degree: Master’s in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies
• Licensure: Active Ohio license (required)
• Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, and PALS (required)
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of emergency or urgent care experience preferred
• Board Certification: NCCPA (PA) or ANCC/AANP (NP)
• DEA: Active & unrestricted
• Skills: Proficiency in high-acuity patient management, suturing, splinting, and basic procedural skills
