Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner for an ongoing Urgent Care locum assignment in La Grande, Oregon. This opportunity offers a consistent weekday schedule, no call, and a supportive clinical environment backed by an established community hospital system.

Assignment Details

• Location: La Grande, Oregon
• Setting: Outpatient Urgent Care Clinic
• Start Date: January 19, 2026
• Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (4x10s)
• Duration: 4+ months, with potential for ongoing extension
• Contract Type: Locum Tenens
• EMR: Epic

Practice Environment

• 6 total exam rooms, including:
  • 1 procedure room
  • 2 isolation rooms
  • 1 dedicated pediatric room
• Average Volume: 20–40 patients per day
• Support Staff: 2–3 clinical staff per shift (mix of RNs and CMAs)
• Medical Oversight: Collaborative support available via phone, Epic, and email from the Medical Director
• Patient Population: All ages

Candidate Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine experience required (no new grads)
• Licensure: Active and unrestricted Oregon NP license & DEA
• Certifications: BLS (AHA)
• Skills: Independent decision-making, suturing, I&D, splinting, and comfort with broad-spectrum urgent care presentations
