Advanced Practice Provider – Primary Care Locum Tenens

Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a busy and well-established Primary Care practice. This is a lifestyle-friendly weekday role offering a broad mix of primary and occupational health services, with strong clinical and administrative support.

Assignment Highlights

• Specialty: Primary Care (Family Practice focus)
• Contract Type: Locum Tenens – APP (NP/PA)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Practice Environment:
  • Longstanding facility with 20+ years serving the community
  • Team includes 1 Physician, 1 APP, 2 MAs, and 1 Office Manager
  • Supportive, collaborative, and patient-focused environment

Scope of Practice

• Family Practice visits and chronic disease management
• Preventive care and functional medicine support
• Health coaching and patient education
• DOT, asbestos, and pre-employment physicals
• Drug screening and occupational medicine services

Candidate Requirements

• Active NP or PA license
• Active Certification required
• DEA registration preferred
• Prior experience in Family Medicine or Occupational Health strongly preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a collaborative care team
