About The Position

• Position Description
  Bon Secours Mercy Health - St. Vincent Medical Center is seeking Locum Critical Care - Neuro coverage to support a hospital-based practice. This role involves caring for adult patients in a Level 1 trauma, comprehensive stroke facility. Coverage is needed due to a vacancy in the position.
• Job Details
• Setting: Hospital-Based, Neuro ICU + Neurosurgery consults
• Dates of Coverage: Late October/Early November 2025 - February/March 2026
• Schedule: Night shifts, no call required
• Patient Population: Adults only (100%)
• Trauma Volume: ~40%
• Inpatient: 100%
• Census: ~10 patients per night in Neuro ICU + ~5 neurosurgery consults/night
• Support:
• 2 Neuro-Intensivists (available by phone nights)
• 3 Advanced Practice Providers
• Onsite Lab & X-ray
• Trauma Level: Level 1 Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center
• EMR: Epic

• Requirements
• Board Certified (PA or CNP licensed in Ohio) - Required
• Active Ohio license - Required
• Clean background - Required
• BLS & ACLS - Required
• ENLS - Highly preferred
• Experience covering Neuro ICU in a Level 1 Trauma Center - Required

Must be comfortable managing stroke patients and covering neurosurgical consults at night - Required

• All bookings must be standard/economy
• Lodging capped at $107 - $116  (must be pre-approved if higher)
