Full-Time | Competitive Pay | 6 Months Contract

High Chances of Securing a Permanent Placement after Contract ends 

Location: Houston, TX 77025

• Scheduled: 8 or 10 Hours in Day, 5 Days in week
• Shift: 8:00am - 7AM - 5:30 PM -OR- 8AM – 5 PM
• Weekly 40Hours total

Hourly compensation: $45.00 - $ 53.00 Per hour.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform diagnostic sonography procedures in accordance with departmental policies, protocols, and professional standards, ensuring optimal image quality and accurate anatomical representation.
2. Apply knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and technical imaging principles to produce quality sonographic studies, while effectively communicating age-appropriate instructions to patients.
3. Participate in technical quality control by performing routine equipment maintenance, documenting cleaning logs, and reporting malfunctions or performance issues to supervisory staff.
4. Accurately utilize the Radiology Information System (RIS) and adhere to documentation protocols for radiologist review. Identify and communicate atypical conditions or issues impacting image quality.
5. Demonstrate working knowledge of the PACS system, troubleshooting transmission issues when possible and escalating concerns to supervisory staff when necessary.
6. Maintain adequate supplies, follow department workflow guidelines, and support efficient operations within the radiology team.

7. Provide clear, factual responses to patient and staff inquiries, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and satisfaction throughout the imaging process.

Qualification:

• Requires Minimum of 2 ultrasound registries
• (RVT) + AB or OBGYN or
• ARDMS AB + OBGYN
