Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist specializing in NICU to join our dedicated team. The position involves working primarily with pediatric patients across NICU, PICU, and CVICU settings. You may also have the opportunity to float to Shaker Children's Rehab, Fairview NICU, Akron NICU, and Hillcrest NICU, depending on the needs of the facility.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy to pediatric patients in high level NICU, PICU, and CVICU settings.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, providing updates to the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement care plans.
• Provide education and support to families regarding patient care and respiratory issues.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum two years of experience in pediatric respiratory therapy, specifically in NICU, PICU, and CVICU environments.
• Current Ohio RRT license is required.
• NBRC, BLS, Advanced NRP, and PALS certifications are mandatory.
• Experience in high-level care (level 4) NICU is essential.
