WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Radiology Technician for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital System in Jamaica Plain, MA.

Job Function:

Day Shift.
8am to 4:30pm.
Follow instructions from Physicians regarding which area of the patient’s body needs imaging.
Talk the patient through the procedure and answer questions to lower potential concerns/ stress.
Follow correct techniques and procedures such as patient shielding; Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure to patient and themselves.
Maintain patient records, radiology supplies inventory, anticipating future needs and placing orders when required.
Ensure a safe and clean working environment.

Job Requirements:

2 years of Radiology Tech experience within this field.
Current knowledge of trends and advances in clinical practice and healthcare informatics, as well as new developments and innovations in hardware and software technology.
