Certified X-Ray Technologist needed for immediate three-month coverage in Westchester, NY. This opportunity offers competitive compensation and benefits in a supportive and professional environment.

Job Function:

• Day Shift and Evening Shift.
• 4x12: 8am - 4pm /12pm - 8pm.
• Produces radiographs of various parts of the body. Positions patients under the X-Ray machine and regulates technical factors.
• Assists radiologists in X-Ray procedures; prepares patients, draws contrast media, mixes barium and maintains daily work log.
• Develop film by automatic or daylight processing. Mixes barium for contrast exams.
• Dispose of biomedical waste using CDC and OSHA guidelines; Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of assigned rooms.
• Maintain adequate room supplies s/respiratory and suction tubing.

Job Requirements:

• Current NYS license/registration in Radiologic Technology,
• Graduate of an approved school for Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT registered.
• OR Experience strongly preferred.
• Fluoroscopy experience strongly preferred.
